Advertising Model
We are taking the Crystal Cathedral approach to sponsorship of this ministry. Robert Schuller sold sponsorships for each piece of glass that went into the cathedral. We are doing something very similar, except we don't have glass windows, we have web pages (windows to the world).
What you can "advertise"

The vast majority of sponsorships will likely be memoriams to deceased loved ones.

Did your loved one have a favorite bible passage?

Sponsor the whole chapter of that passage.
|
|
|
|
You can have a paragraph of 1000 characters (including spaces and punctuation)

You can even sponsor "blind." That is no advertisements or messages will be displayed.

Once a page is sponsored, we will remove any and all of our sponsorship advertisements from that page.

The only advertising we require is the LinkExchange.

We need that for statistical purposes. They keep track of daily, monthly and yearly hits to our web site.
|
|
|
|
We also maintain the right to link from your page to any other page in the Online Bible.
|
|
Who can sponsor a page
|

This is private property so we reserve the right to allow or disallow any wording, graphics and off-site links.

|
You may not resell your sponsorship.
|
You can sponsor any page of the OnLine Bible.

We will be setting up a type of auction.

Tax information
|

We are not setup as a not-for-profit entity, so you will not be able to deduct sponsorship fees as charity.
|
|
|
However, if you maintain a business, you should be able to deduct the fees as advertising expenses. Consult your CPA or tax consultant.

Guarantees
|
|
There are no written or implied guarantees.
|
|
|
You cannot hold us liable for any damages.
|
|
|
We will use every avenue available to promote the Online Bible and build traffic to this site. We are using a grass roots model of promotion. Asking fellow Christians to help us spread the word by linking to us from their web sites, putting our address in their church bulletins, telling their friends, etc.

We feel, traffic should increase greatly over the next few months. Especially once we start adding on the discussion forums and our grass roots promotion builds momentum.
|
|
|
There is no guaranteed CPM or click through rate of your advertising.
|
|
|
|
We will use every avenue available to maintain the Bible online forever. However,
|
|
considering the rapid change of the Internet and the possibility of unforeseen complications, there may be a point in time that we can no longer have the Bible online.
|
|
|
"Online" may change so much between now and some point in the future that it would be impossible.
|
|
|
If Jesus comes to gather his church, we will be rejoicing as we meet him in the air. (We will not stay behind just to maintain the Bible, unless He asks us to.)
