If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above.
Paul tells the church they were buried with Christ in baptism and raised with Him through faith. God made them alive together with Christ and seated them with Him in the heavenly places. If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is. This is not the future rising of the body denied. The body will still be raised. This is the present share. The old self was crucified with Him. The life now is hid with Christ in God. When He appears, they appear with Him.
