Alive for evermore is the word of the one who died and lives.
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore.
Jesus lays His hand on John and says, Fear not. I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. The title is not a hope. It is His own word on Patmos. Death had Him. It does not have Him. He holds the keys. The church that hears the letters hears them from the one who is alive for evermore.
