All Authority is the risen Lord’s claim before He sends the church into the nations.
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold,
I am with you always,
to the end of the age.
Therefore is built on given.
The mission does not invent power.
It borrows His.
Pilate sat on a seat and heard that he had no authority except what was given from above. After the grave the Son speaks from the other side of that sentence. Given—by the Father, through the cross and the resurrection. Declared Son of God in power. God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that every knee should bow. Head over all things to the church. Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion. The commission is not a sales target. It is obedience under a throne that already covers heaven and earth.
Go, baptize, teach all He commanded—not a sliver the nations will like. I am with you always means the Authority does not stay on a mountain in Galilee. Daniel saw one like a son of man given dominion and a kingdom that shall not be destroyed. That vision is now a voice on a hill: All authority has been given to Me. Demons had already asked if He had come to destroy them. Storms had already stopped. The last claim gathers those signs into a title the church can carry to the ends of the dirt.
- Given is as important as all. The Son is not a rival god seizing a chair.
- Heaven and earth leaves no district outside the claim.
- Therefore go—mission is consequence, not a separate hobby.
- All nations and all I commanded belong together. Do not baptize and skip the teaching.
- I am with you is presence under authority, not a mood.
- Pilate’s borrowed sword sits under this sentence now.
- Head over all things for the church means the body does not freelance.
- Given – From the Father; through death and resurrection.
- Scope – Heaven and earth; all rule and dominion.
- Therefore – Go; make disciples; baptize; teach.
- The Name – Above every name; every knee.
- The Head – Over all things to the church.
- The Presence – With you always; to the end of the age.
- The Contrast – Earthly seats; authority from above.

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
- John 19:11 – “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above.”
- Daniel 7:13-14 – Behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man… to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him.
- Philippians 2:9-11 – God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

- Romans 1:4 – Declared to be the Son of God in power… by His resurrection from the dead.
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. I am with you always.
You would have no authority unless it had been given from above.
To Him was given dominion and a kingdom. God highly exalted Him. Head over all things to the church.
Every knee should bow. King of kings and Lord of lords.
Do not send the church on a maybe. The throne is already His. Go under that sentence. Teach the whole command. The nations are not outside His claim. Neither is the room you are sitting in. He is with you to the end of the age.
