God is omnipresent

He is present everywhere at all times.
Omnipresence means that there is no place in the universe where God is not fully present.
He is not limited by space, distance, or location.
This attribute of God brings both awe and comfort:
no one can flee from His presence,
and no believer is ever beyond His reach.
The doctrine of God’s omnipresence teaches that God fills heaven and earth. He is not confined to any temple, city, or dimension. While God is distinct from His creation (He is not the universe itself), there is no part of creation from which He is absent. Scripture presents this truth as a living reality that shapes worship, accountability, and the daily experience of God’s people. Because God is everywhere, He sees all, hears all, and is able to help His children in every place and circumstance. Omnipresence is inseparable from His other attributes — His knowledge, power, and faithfulness are never limited by location.
- God is present in all places at the same time; His presence is not divided or diminished by distance.
- Omnipresence does not mean that God is everything (pantheism); He remains distinct from His creation while being fully present to it.

If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.”
- Jeremiah 23:23-24 – “Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? … Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.”

God’s omnipresence means that He is never absent and never distant in the sense of being unavailable. There is no place where He is not, and no child of His who is beyond His care. This truth leaves the sinner without excuse and the believer without orphanhood. The God who fills heaven and earth has drawn near in Jesus Christ and now dwells in His people by the Holy Spirit. We can live and move and face every circumstance with the quiet confidence that the Lord is with us — always, everywhere, and forever.
