The cross, which looked like weakness and folly to the world, is in reality the master-stroke of divine wisdom that saves sinners and glorifies God. Because Christ is our wisdom, believers can face the mysteries and trials of life with humble trust. We do not need to understand every detail of God’s plan in order to rest in the certainty that the only wise God is working all things according to the counsel of His perfect will.
