Providence is God upholding and governing all things.
He upholds the universe by the word of his power.
In him we live and move and have our being.
Even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
Providence is not a vague luck. God upholds the universe by the word of His power. In Him we live and move and have our being. He works all things according to the counsel of His will. Jesus says the hairs of the head are numbered and not a sparrow falls apart from the Father. The church does not confuse this with fate. The same God who governs calls people to pray, obey, and trust. Joseph tells his brothers that they meant evil, and God meant it for good.

- Providence does not make evil good. It governs what men mean for evil, and it remains evil in their intent.
He upholds. He governs. Not a sparrow falls apart from the Father. Pray, because the Governor hears.
