The provision of God is the Father giving what His children need.
Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.
My God will supply every need of yours
according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Provision is not a bonus beside the gospel. God is the Father who knows what His children need. Jesus says the Gentiles seek food, drink, and clothing. The Father knows. Seek first the kingdom and His righteousness, and these things are added. Paul tells a giving church that God will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The supply is according to those riches, not according to the size of the worry.
- Manna was provision with a limit. Enough for the day. What was hoarded bred worms. The Father still teaches the day its portion.
- Abraham names the provision on the mountain. The Lord will provide. The ram is caught in the thicket. The name of the place is The Lord Will Provide.
- The church is told to cast its cares because He cares. Provision and the cast belong together. A clutched anxiety is not faith in the Provider.
He knows. He adds. He supplies. The kingdom is sought first. The things are added, not bargained for.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
- Matthew 6:11 – “Give us this day our daily bread.”
- Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
- Genesis 22:8, 14 – “Abraham said, ‘God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.’ … So Abraham called the name of that place, ‘The Lord will provide.’”
