The face of Jesus is the sight every eye will have, and the sight His servants will bear.
They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
John sees one like a son of man. His face was like the sun shining in full strength, and John fell at His feet as though dead. At the end His servants will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. The tribes wail when every eye sees Him, even those who pierced Him. The face is not a metaphor only. The glory that shone on the mountain, and the face like the sun on Patmos, is the face they will see. No night, no lamp, no sun. The Lord God will be their light.
