The Feast of Unleavened Bread keeps the seven days after the Passover lamb.
Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.
On the night of the Passover, Israel leaves Egypt in haste. For seven days they eat unleavened bread. The first day and the seventh are holy convocations. Leaven is put out of the houses. The feast is tied to the lamb, not eaten instead of it. Jesus keeps the Passover and then is the lamb. Paul tells the church to cleanse out the old leaven, because Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. The seven days of bread preach a leaving, and a life without the old leaven.
