under Candace queen of the Ethiopians.
The Ethiopian eunuch is the man Philip met on the road from Jerusalem to Gaza. He had come to worship. He was reading Isaiah. The Spirit said, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. Philip asked if he understood. He said, How can I, except some man should guide me? The place was the sheep led to the slaughter. Philip preached Jesus. The eunuch believed and was baptized.
