Power Of God is what the gospel is to those who are being saved
—
and what Christ crucified is to the called.
The word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
I am not ashamed of the gospel,
for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
Power here is not volume.
It is God doing what human strength cannot:
raise the dead,
justify the ungodly,
keep a people to the end.
The world counts power as force, platform, and the last man standing. Scripture aims the word at the cross, the resurrection, and the Spirit. Declared to be the Son of God in power by His resurrection. The immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe—the same power that raised Christ from the dead. My power is made perfect in weakness. The kingdom does not rest in talk but in power. Signs in Acts are the name of Jesus, not a technique. Elijah learned that the Lord was not in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire first—then a low whisper. Power of God can split a sea and still a storm and open a tomb. It also opens a heart in Philippi and keeps a thorn in Paul so that grace stays the boast. Do not hunt fireworks and miss the sentence that saves. The gospel is power because God is in it. Christ crucified looks like the opposite of power until the third day—and even before the third day it is already the wisdom that undoes princes. To us who are being saved, the wood is not an embarrassment. It is dynamis. God at work.
- Power of God and word of the cross are the same sentence in Corinth.
- For salvation to everyone who believes—power has a direction and a door.
- Resurrection is the public measure of that power. The thorn is its private school.
- Talk is not the kingdom. Power is.
- Weakness is not the canceling of power. It is often the address where power lands.
- Ashamed of the gospel is how you treat power as if it needed better clothes.
- Same power that raised Him is toward us who believe—not a museum fact.
- The Cross – Folly to the perishing; power to the saved.

Declared Son of God in power by His resurrection. The same power toward us who believe.
