Behold, we go up to Jerusalem.
And the Son of man shall be betrayed
unto the chief priests and unto the scribes,
and they shall condemn him to death.
The passion week is the last week. Jesus went up to Jerusalem. He rode in. He cleansed the temple. He taught. He ate the supper. He went to the Mount of Olives and to the garden. He was betrayed, tried, condemned, crucified, and buried. On the third day He rose. The week is the going up He had named. The Son of man shall be betrayed. They shall condemn Him to death. And the third day He shall rise again. The week is the cross, and it is not the end of the week.
