Creator is the title of God as the One who made all things out of nothing by His powerful word.
He alone is the uncreated Source of everything that exists — heaven and earth, visible and invisible, angels and human beings.
Scripture presents creation as the free act of the triune God, accomplished for His own glory and as the stage for His redemptive purpose.
Because God is Creator, He owns all things, rules all things, and is worthy of the worship of all that He has made.
The Bible opens with the foundational declaration: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Everything that exists owes its being to Him. He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm. Creation is not the product of chance, necessity, or eternal matter; it is the free, purposeful work of the living God. The New Testament reveals that the Son is the Agent through whom all things were created and that the Spirit was present and active in the work. As Creator, God is distinct from the world yet intimately involved with it — upholding all things by the word of His power and providing for every creature. The truth that God is Creator undergirds every other doctrine: He has the right to command, the power to redeem, and the claim to final judgment and restoration. Worship, stewardship, and trust all flow from knowing Him as the Maker of heaven and earth.

God is the Creator. Everything that exists — from the farthest galaxy to the smallest particle, from angels to human beings — was made by Him and belongs to Him. He spoke, and it came to be. He continues to uphold all things by the word of His power. Because He is Creator, He is worthy of all worship, trust, and obedience. The world is not an accident, and human life is not meaningless. We are creatures of the living God, made in His image and accountable to Him. The same Creator is also the Redeemer who will one day make all things new. Bow before the Lord, your Maker. Give Him the glory due His name. And live as those who know that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.
