The Spirit of Intercession is the Holy Spirit in His ministry of helping believers in prayer and interceding for them according to the will of God.

This ministry does not replace our praying; it carries, corrects, and completes it. When words fail, the Spirit does not. When desires are confused, the Spirit aligns them. When strength runs out, the Spirit helps. Therefore pray in the Spirit. Depend on His intercession. Take comfort that the same Spirit who cries “Abba, Father” within you also intercedes for you according to the will of God. Your weak prayers are caught up into His perfect intercession, and nothing needed for your good will be missing before the throne.
