New Heart is the Lord’s promised replacement for a heart of stone.
I will give you a new heart,
and a new spirit I will put within you.
I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
I will put My Spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in My statutes.
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
The new heart is not a mood.
It is a gift that walks.
Israel could polish a stone and still not love God. Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, Moses said, because the outward sign was not enough. Ezekiel spoke to exiles who had defiled the Name among the nations. God would act for His name’s sake. Clean water. New heart. New spirit. Flesh instead of stone. Spirit within so that walking in the statutes is caused, not merely advised.

The same Lord who hardens a Pharaoh makes a heart alive. Regeneration is the doctrine name. New heart is the prophet’s picture. You do not coach a stone into beating. You receive flesh and then keep it with vigilance, because from it flow the springs of life.
- Stone cannot be improved into flesh. It must be taken out.
- Spirit within is paired with the new heart. The gift includes power to walk.

- Opened to the word is how the new heart shows in a room by the river.

Do not sand a stone and call it new. Ask the Creator. Receive the Spirit. Walk. The law on the heart is not a lighter yoke. It is life on the inside where the springs begin.
