For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of God,
and that by believing you may have life in His name.

Believe is not a nod at facts.
It is trust that comes to the Son and lives.
