The tent of meeting is where the Lord meets His people.

The tent of meeting is the tabernacle Moses is told to build, and also the name of the tent where the Lord speaks with him. There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory. The cloud covers it, and the glory fills it, so that Moses cannot enter. The altar stands before it. The laver stands between the tent and the altar. Jesus tabernacled among us. The meeting is no longer a tent in the camp. The Word became flesh.
