Fellowship with God is
the shared life, communion, and intimate relationship
that believers enjoy with
the Father and His Son Jesus Christ
through the Holy Spirit.
It is the privilege of walking in the light,
knowing God personally,
and living in close relationship with Him.
This fellowship is made possible by
the blood of Jesus and is maintained by
walking in truth, confession of sin, and obedience.
It is both a present reality
and a relationship to be cultivated daily.
God created human beings for relationship with Himself. Sin broke that fellowship and left humanity alienated from the life of God. Through the gospel, the barrier is removed: those who trust in Christ are brought near, reconciled, and invited into the fellowship of the Father and the Son. This is not a distant or formal connection; it is a living, personal communion in which God shares His life with His people and they respond in love, trust, and obedience. Fellowship with God is the heart of eternal life and the source of true joy, assurance, and strength for the Christian walk. It is experienced in prayer, through the Word, in worship, and in the daily awareness of His presence.

In it we find the joy for which we were made, the strength we need for the journey, and the foretaste of the day when we will see Him face to face. Nothing in this world can compare with knowing the Father and His Son in living, daily communion. Draw near to God — He waits to draw near to you.
