Yet the same passages that warn of the tribulation also promise that the days will be cut short for the sake of the elect and that the Son of Man will come with power and great glory. The call of the hour is to watch, to endure, to hold fast to Christ, and to live in the light of His certain return. The Great Tribulation will pass; the kingdom of God will remain forever.
