The sovereignty of God is a source of profound comfort for believers: nothing happens outside His rule, no enemy can thwart His promises, and every detail of life is under the care of a wise and good Father. This truth does not make prayer unnecessary or human choices meaningless; it makes prayer confident and obedience hopeful. Because God is sovereign, His purposes cannot fail and His children cannot be ultimately harmed. Rest in the rule of the One who does all that He pleases, who works all things for the good of those who love Him, and who will bring every promise to completion. To Him be glory forever.
