And immediately I was in the spirit,
and behold,
a throne was set in heaven,
and one sat on the throne.
A throne is set, and One sits on it. Round it are the elders on their seats, and the four living creatures in the midst and round about. Lightnings and voices come out of the throne. This is the court John sees when the door is opened. It is not a parliament. One sits. The rest fall. The book is in the right hand of Him who sits, and the Lamb takes it. The court declares Him worthy. It does not vote the book open.
