The historical reliability of the Gospels and Acts provides a solid foundation for the Christian claims.
The resurrection is the cornerstone of Christianity (1 Corinthians 15:14-17). Strong evidence includes:
- The empty tomb, which was known and could have been produced if the body was still there.
- Multiple eyewitness appearances to individuals and groups (over 500 at one time).

- His authoritative teaching
- His miracles
- His claims to deity
- His sacrificial death and resurrection
No other founder of a major world religion claimed to be God in the flesh or rose from the dead.
